Tracked delivery anywhere in the UK. It is free on orders of £75 or more, and a flat £25 below that. Allow 5 to 7 days, after a 24 to 48 hour handling time.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason, and a further 14 days to send it back in resaleable condition. We refund the price you paid, including standard delivery. You cover the cost of returning it unless the item is faulty.
If it arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, we put it right at no cost to you under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, return postage included.
Looking after it
Wipe with a dry cloth. Check the adjustment joints are locked before you set a laptop on it, especially at the top of the range, and fold it before it goes in a bag rather than forcing it in.
About this product
Lifts the screen to eye level and folds flat for the bag.
An adjustable aluminium-look riser reaching 50.8 cm, at 2 kg, that packs down to travel.
An adjustable laptop stand that raises the screen towards eye level instead of leaving it flat on the desk.
It adjusts up to 50.8 cm tall and is 33 cm wide.
Folded it is 6.9 cm, so it goes in a backpack rather than staying on one desk.
It weighs 2 kg, which is what makes it stable with a laptop on it.
The finish is grey.

A laptop is a compromise: the screen and the keyboard are attached, so one of them is always in the wrong place. Raising the screen and using a separate keyboard is the usual fix, and a riser is the cheap half of it.

This one adjusts rather than sitting at one fixed height, which matters because eye level is different sitting and standing, and different again for every person.

50.8 cm at full extension is tall. That is the number that makes it usable at a standing desk rather than only at a seated one.

It folds to 6.9 cm. A riser that stays on the desk is a riser you own one of; a riser that folds is one you take with you.
At 2 kg it has enough mass to stay put when you type on the laptop keyboard directly, though a separate keyboard is the better setup.
Still deciding?
Not sure yet? That is fine.
You can change your mind. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason, and a further 14 days to send it back in resaleable condition. We refund the price you paid, including standard delivery.
If it turns up faulty, damaged or not as described, that is on us. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 covers you, we pay the return postage, and you can have a repair, a replacement or your money back. Read the full detail on our refunds and returns page, or ask us anything before you order.
Got questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
How high does the laptop stand go?
Up to 50.8 cm. That is tall enough to be useful at a standing desk, not only a seated one.
Does it fold?
Yes, down to 6.9 cm, which is what makes it a stand you can carry rather than one that lives on a single desk.
How wide is it?
33 cm, which takes a full-size laptop.
How much does it weigh?
2 kg. Heavy enough to stay steady with a laptop on it, light enough to go in a backpack.
What colour is it?
Grey. It is sold in the one finish.
Do I need a separate keyboard with it?
You do not have to, but it is the better setup. Once the screen is at eye level the attached keyboard is high, so most people add a separate keyboard and mouse.
Is it stable at full height?
It is designed to be, and the 2 kg helps. Make sure the adjustment joints are locked before you put the laptop on it, particularly at the top of the range.
Will it fit a 17 inch laptop?
The stand is 33 cm wide. Measure the base of your laptop against that rather than going by screen size, because screen size is measured diagonally and tells you less than you think.
Can I use it on a sofa or a bed?
It needs a flat firm surface to be stable. For a bed or a sofa, the portable laptop bed table we sell is the right product instead.
Does it help with neck strain?
We are not going to make a health claim for a metal stand. What it does is put the screen higher. Whether that suits you is worth trying, and a clinician is the right person to ask about any actual pain.
Is it adjustable in small steps?
It is multi-position rather than continuously variable, so you pick from set stops up to 50.8 cm.
Does it get in the way of laptop cooling?
An open riser lifts the machine off the desk, which generally helps airflow compared with sitting flat on a solid surface.
Will it hold a monitor instead?
It is designed and rated for a laptop. We would not put a monitor on it, because the listing gives no load figure for one.
Does it come assembled?
Yes. It arrives ready to unfold and adjust.
How much is delivery on the Laptop Stand?
Delivery is free on orders of £75 or more. Below that it is a flat £25, whatever you order. There is nothing extra added at the end.
How long will it take to arrive?
5-7 days, after a 24-48 hour handling time. The handling time is the bit before it leaves us, and the 5 to 7 days is the delivery itself.
Is there a faster delivery option?
Not at the moment. Every order goes out on the same tracked service, 5 to 7 days across the UK after the handling time. If you need something by a particular date, email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
Do you deliver across the whole UK?
Yes, right across the United Kingdom. We are an online supplier with no shop or showroom, which is how the pricing works.
Where does the Laptop Stand ship from?
It is shipped direct from our supplier. Either way it comes to you with tracking, and you get the tracking number by email once it is on its way.
Can I change my mind after it arrives?
Yes. You have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and we extend that to 15 days under our own policy. Return postage is yours unless the item arrived damaged or faulty, in which case we cover it.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
Tell us and we will sort it. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods have to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and if they are not that is our problem to fix, not yours to pay for. Email theteam@customersupport.care with a photograph and your order number.
Do I get a receipt and a tracking number?
You get an emailed receipt as soon as payment goes through, and a second email with the tracking number once the order ships.
What payment methods do you take?
Card payments through our checkout and PayPal. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never stored by us.
What currency are your prices in?
Pounds sterling. Every price on this site is the price you pay in £, with no currency conversion at the end.
Is there a discount code?
Yes, `valued-customer` takes 15 percent off your goods at the cart. It applies to the products rather than to the delivery.
Do you have a shop I can visit?
No. We are an online supplier with no physical shop or showroom, and that is deliberate: the saving goes into the price rather than into a lease.
Can I buy several of these for an office?
Yes, and if you want more than a handful use the wholesale quote page and we will price it properly rather than making you add them to the cart one at a time.
How do I ask a question about the Laptop Stand before I buy?
Email theteam@customersupport.care and a person will answer you. We would much rather answer a question first than process a return after.
Who are you, exactly?
Home Office Company UK, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd. Our UK administration office is at 33 Queen St, London EC4R 1AP. The company details are on every legal page rather than buried.
Is my order secure?
The checkout runs over an encrypted connection and we never see or store your card number. If anything about a payment looks wrong to you, email theteam@customersupport.care and we will look at it with you.
